Big Cypress Fish Camp has been a family-run labor of love for over 14 years. Our logo has a special story—it was originally sketched on a napkin by our mother while we were sitting at a restaurant. Though the large sign made from her sketch was lost to a hurricane, the original drawing remains the heart of our camp. Built by hand starting in 2001 and officially open since 2010, we’re proud to offer an authentic Florida river experience across our three cabins: Uncle Tom, Gator Bait, and Duck Pond."
Outdoor Living & GrillingWe’ve set up our outdoor spaces so you can kick back and enjoy the "Old Florida" grit of the river. Every cabin has its own way to cook up the catch of the day:The "Outback" Fire Pits: There is nothing like a fire by the river once the sun goes down. We have private fire pits ready for gathering around to tell stories or roast marshmallows.The "Gator Bait" & "Uncle Tom" Pellet Grills: These two cabins come equipped with high-quality pellet grills, which are a real game-changer. They act like a convection oven, using wood pellets to give your steaks or burgers an authentic, wood-fired smoky flavor without the hassle of babysitting a fire.The "Duck Pond" Charcoal Grill: This cabin features its own charcoal grill for that classic, flame-seared taste, along with its own private fire pit for your evening wood
